This new chapter in our lives seems worthy of a little blogging! In light of our move to Cambridge, we hope we can keep our family & friends connected via tidbits & photos. We challenge you to visit often & comment frequently. Missing you all!

coco in cambridge

We're finally getting a little use out of our guest bedroom with visits from Bonnie, & then Janet & Coco. I had a great time walking around Cambridge, enjoying cafes, cooking, chatting, & relaxing. And little Coco was right at home. Missing the little cutie already:-(

FYI: Just remember that the Casa Winfield is always open for business!

girls just wanna have fun

Who would have thought that the business school experience would include a bunch of grown men in Hooter's attire? Although we didn't attend the actual Priscilla Ball, we did stop by the Section E pre-party to take a look. More tight shorts & boobs than you can imagine! See a few more fun shots by clicking our album link.

John had some fun with the camera & what resulted was a little view into his day in Cambridge & on campus. I was a little surprised that there were no Shad Gym photos - definitely John's favorite place on campus! Check out our album link to get a better glimpse.

nyc getaway

It is still hard for me to believe that in a mere 4.5 hours I can be in NYC with a bagel in hand! That is fantastic for a girl who loves the big apple.

The weekend was a great little escape. We stayed in a beautiful apartment in Battery Park City with Tiekka, my friend from SFB; Michael, Tiekka's husband; Wilson, their baby; & Anna, their precious dog. I only wish we could make a weekly Bouley Bakery brunch date (already missing the Chocolate Viennoise loaf!) with the Prieve clan.

The inspiration for the trip was City Center's Fall for Dance Festival. Tiekka, Sara (a friend from SFB), & I were in the nose bleed section, but it was a fabulous night on the town. Julie & Zak (our friends from SFB who now dance at Pennsylvania Ballet) were stunning. Lots of great dancing, great food, & great conversation.

John & I spent hours walking around the city & taking it all in. Too many cute cafes & quaint restaurants to choose from. And so many people out walking. Not to mention the celebrity citings: Tim Gunn from Project Runway, Meryl Streep in Battery Park City on a bike, Uma Thurman in Central Park, & our personal favorite, Kathy Griffin behind us in line at The Magnolia Bakery (picking up cupcakes in sweats with one of her gays). We also made it to the MET. It's been years & it was so worth it.

John & I are back in Cambridge now, & although it doesn't quite have the hustle & bustle of New York City, we are loving every minute of it.
